Finlays Community Trust recently awarded a prestigious undergraduate scholarship to 28 bright and needy students from Kericho and Bomet counties to pursue various degree programs in Kenyan public universities. The 28 students were picked from a pool of 310 candidates after a highly competitive and transparent selection process that put a strong emphasis on academic excellence and student’s neediness.

The scholarship program worth Kshs 22.5 million, is for the entire duration of study and provides each student with a laptop, tuition and administration fees, accommodation fee, stipend, and cost of books.
