Finlays Community Trust Commissions a Library at Mengit High School

Finlays Community Trust is delighted to announce that it has successfully built and commissioned a modern library at Mengit High School located at Kipreres Ward, Bomet East Constituency in Bomet County. The library was constructed at a cost of Ksh.5.68 million.

The library is expected to serve over 415 students per year. This is consistent with the Kenyan government’s policy of upgrading learning institution infrastructure to ensure learners have adequate learning resources. The provision of libraries in schools not only provides students with a quiet place to read, but also an opportunity to broaden their future dreams.

Finlays Community Trust has now invested over Ksh. 252 million in its infrastructure projects to support development and improve the lives of communities in Kericho and Bomet Counties since 2010.

At Finlays Community Trust, we believe that investing in our children’s education today has a better return on investment for the community and society as a whole in future.
