Browns (Finlays) Community Trust is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 2025 Undergraduate Degree Scholarship Programme.
This scholarship targets academically gifted and financially deserving students who are residents of Bomet and Kericho Counties, and who:
- Sat for the 2024 KCSE examinations,
- Achieved a mean grade of B+ (70 points) and above, and
- Have received admission to a recognized university in Kenya under the Government Sponsorship Programme.
About the Scholarship
The Undergraduate Degree Scholarship Programme was established in 1991 and continues to support outstanding students from the local community in pursuing higher education. Each year, 28 students are awarded scholarships through a highly competitive and transparent selection process. Applicants are drawn from all eleven constituencies within Bomet and Kericho Counties.
The scholarship package includes:
- An annual award of Kshs. 150,000 per student, covering tuition and related costs,
- A laptop computer to support the student’s academic journey.
To date, the programme has supported 428 undergraduate students, significantly contributing to the region’s educational advancement.
